Sew Pleased (tee hee!)
I bought myself a sewing machine today and set up my little craft haven. I ran around the house locating all of my supplies and half finished projects. It was a bit like an Easter egg hunt. Now there's a place for everything. I keep all of my embroidery, cross stitch and sewing junk up top with the sewing machine. Meanwhile, down below is home for the knitting and crochet and yarny bits. I can't wait for my days off next week so I can get down with that sewing machine. I can't remember a damn thing from my high school sewing class. I bought a couple of books so hopefully I can glean some basic knowledge and start a little something simple. In the meantime I should probably finish the plarn bag.

I think you should start by making some of those cute retro aprons you showed me before. They would make simple (get to know your machine) projects. And great christmas gifts. I know how to sew but the machine hates me! I rage against the machine!!!!!
