I took a few days off for wrist recovery. Started back at it today and made some decent progress. It's starting to take on a little bag-like shape finally. It's starting to work a lot easier than it had in the beginning. The knotty stretchy texture of the bag is really cool. I'm anxious to finish and see how it turns out.

So will this use up 1,584 plastic bags, or what? Looks like an extensive craft project to me. Your enthusiasm for your projects is admirable.
More like 60, which is still a decent amount. I can't understand what's come over me. I'm really having a good time with all this stuff.
Jennifer, you'd better start hording plastic bags if you wish to make more of those. I see where California is outlawing plastic bags so it's a matter of time before we all follow suit. I better get better at remembering my canvas bags when I shop!
That's the problem. I switched over to canvas a while ago so I'm using up all the old bags I've been meaning to take to the recycling box when I go to the grocery store. I'm depending on friends and family to save their bags for me.
