This Week's Project: Silly Faced Veggie Apron

Here's something I've been working on for the past couple of days. It's phase one of a waist apron. So far I've only got the characters embroidered on flour sack cloth. Eventually it will be sewn together, border stitched and finished with pockets and apron strings. I love the grumpy tomato and that carrot is dy-no-mite! He's just way happy to be a carrot. Be careful, that sassy orange just might steal yo man.

Jen that is too cute. I can just see you in that apron. It reminds me of a time when all I wanted to do is sit and needle work. Now I don't know if I even remember how to do the stitches. I might manage a chain stitch. you have inspired me to give it another try.

Grumpy tomato rules. It's like he can't even stand himself. He's not happy being a tomato. I think he's hating on the carrot for being so happy with himself.
