my mother in law made a pair of those for me in the 70ties. I promptly busted my butt on her wood floors. That woman loved to wax things!!!!

They are nice and cozy. The pair I made for myself are a little lumpy underfoot. Mollie's are made with a finer, softer yarn so she doesn't get that effect. Mine are great on carpet but on tile a little bumpy. I was just using up some stash yarn during that first attempt. I'm gonna make a pair with an alpaca blend next to see how that works out.
