Treat Your Mother Right

Most moms live for Mother's Day, and while I enjoy basking in the glory of my motherhood, as a waitress, I do have to serve breakfast to the selfish masses every year. Hate to say it but I absolutely dread this workday more than any other day of the year. I'm so glad that part of my Mother's Day is behind me. Now, on to the good stuff. Time to kick back with a cold one with my mom while Frank and Randy grill us up a meaty feast.

Mollie surprised me with some lovely blueberry muffins that she made (from scratch I might add!) while I was at work yesterday. She had them hidden all night until this morning. They were fantastic! I brought some to work to share with my girls.
Frank had my car totally detailed and filled to the top with gas, which to me is the best gift I could ask for. I hate to wash my car and I hate getting gas even more! Frankie is working on a special project in art class that he wasn't allowed to bring home just yet. I'll get it later this week. Whatever it is, I bet it's super awesome. I'm so grateful for my sweet family. They always make Mother's Day a little less painful and full of wonderful memories.
