Just a little Halloween fun

Our neighbors across the street can only be described as fanatical decorators. Not only do they put a ton of crap all over their house, they do it gradually. They add something new literally every day until Halloween. Insanity. We snapped a pic about a week and a half ago so you can imagine how it looks now. (There are 3 more inflatables and more random crap strewn about as of this moment.) Since most of it is inflatable, it looks even more atrocious in the daylight when it's all unplugged and deflated. To top it all off, they don't even have any kids. Should that be a red flag or do they just really love them some Halloween? Feast your eyes on the spectacle. Ghetto.

Mollie's paper mache' kitty head candy bowl. We had a great time making this one. Martha Stewart kit at Michael's. All inclusive.

Here's a sneak peek at Fred's costume. She's wanted to be Sally Rag Doll for 2 years now and I finally made it happen. I'm way inexperienced with my sewing machine so this thing's pretty janky but still looks adorable on her. I found a white t shirt dress on the clearance rack at Old Navy after searching high and low all over town at thrift stores. The rest is just fabric remnants cut and sewn onto the dress. I'm really pleased with how it turned out overall. Mollie said she didn't care how it looked as long as I gave it my best shot. That I did, Fred. Can't wait to snap her pic Friday night with all of her cute accessories.
