One day while shopping at my favorite store of all time, Urban Outfitters, I came across this funny little book of cross stitch patterns, all of them involve sweet little traditional cross stitch designs such as bunnies or ducks or teddy bears...etc. The reason this book caught my eye was the text of the patterns such as "You Can't Make Me" or "Whatever" or" "You Suck". There are others containing more foul language but I'm keepin' it clean for the faint of heart. I'm crankin' these babies out left and right. I make them for my friends and coworkers. I once even gave one to my boss as a housewarming gift. I'll post the link below. Check it out. You'll laugh...or, maybe you won't.

Subversive Cross Stitch
I've never been crafty like the rest of you ladies. It's just not something that ever really came very naturally to me. Linda would try to get me interested in a cross stitch activity but they never really held my attention for very long. I think I may have finished one but I'm pretty sure it took me an unreasonable amount of time.

Hey Jen, it'll just be me on my cross-country expedition, but email me your digits and I'll make sure we can get together. The show is sometime toward the end of the month, but I'll be there almost a week prior. Glad to see you bloggin'. That way I can keep up with folks, without actually blogging myself. Can't wait to see you, Frank, and the kids.
